THE ROUTE THROUGH ST. AMELIA

Townfall walkthrough.
Main-story puzzle route.

A main-story puzzle route with the required items, machine settings and onward connections. Read the route, open a focused guide, or watch the chapter here.

Story and puzzle spoilers. This is a progression guide, not a 100% collectible list or a combat and alternate-ending guide.

Pick up the clues as you go. Knowing a combination may not unlock its puzzle until the corresponding document or item has been inspected. Save from a telephone with 100. At cameras and live monitors, use the values visible in your game.

MAIN STORY

Arrival

Establish a save point, escape Room 204, then assemble the three objects for the clinic scales.

  1. In the town square, read the telephone-services flyer and try its listed numbers: 900, 010 and 100. Use 100 at a telephone when you need to save. The route through the otherworld introduces the CRTV.
  2. In Room 204, inspect the Room Service Card and tune the CRTV to channel 60. Set the date wheels from top to bottom to 18, January, 1996. Take the Room 204 Key from the bathroom counter and use it on the exit.
  3. At Zoe's house, take the flashlight from the downstairs drawer beside the organ box. The batteries are upstairs in the second room on the left; combine them with the flashlight. Find the Organ Transplant Card in the upstairs bathroom and read the power-card guide in the crawlspace by the stairs.
  4. Retrieve the Prepaid Power Card from the cash register at Peters Newsagent. At Zoe's crawlspace panel, insert the card, cycle button A to Card Credit, press B, then operate the main switch. Start the computer, refresh the inbox and read For Attending…. The kitchen organ box takes 956 on the left and 133 on the right. Collect Zoe's Lanyard.
  5. Use the lanyard at the clinic entrance. In the Z Ellis room, take the Scalpel from the green box beside the computer. Use it to enter the pharmacy, examine the numbered posters and CRTV broadcast, then open the back-room locker with 6539. Take the Prescription Dosage Error note.
  6. Use the Scalpel at the park's south entrance. In the apartment building south of map marker 14, search the living-room table of upstairs apartment 1/2 for the 21 Farrow St. Back Door Key. Unlock Jess's back door and take the Broken Stethoscope from the bedroom bed.
  7. Return to the clinic's Z Ellis room. Put the Broken Stethoscope on the left scale, the dosage-error note on the middle scale and Zoe's Lanyard on the right.

MAIN STORY

Zoe

Leave the gardens, unlock the medical-centre route and return through the changed town.

  1. Inspect Jane Chalmers's flower bed in the Community Gardens. Open the shed with 1993, take the Community Garden Key from the right-hand shelf and unlock the gate.
  2. After the encounter in Mr. Stewart's house, return to the bathroom and collect his key beside the tub. Use it at the back door to leave.
  3. Read the Medical Security Note on the security-booth window outside the Medical Centre. At the nearby phone booth dial 496 0556, then answer the prompts with 3, 2, 2, 1 in that order.
  4. Enter the garage from the medical centre's rear parking area. In the office, press the button beside the telephone to open the gates.
  5. When the route returns you to Town Square, interact with the box containing the pistol and choose Yes to trigger the next shift. Use the Scalpel at the Flemington Street door to continue towards the medical centre.

MAIN STORY

The Patient

Complete the in-game examinations, retrieve the required supplies, then solve the blood-routing sequence. All settings here are fictional puzzle inputs.

  1. Take the medical-centre map near the starting surgery room. Answer the intercom using the live readings on the monitors: blood pressure from the middle right display, pulse from the lower right, then SpO2 from the upper left. The values fluctuate; compare the current display with the response choices instead of relying on a memorized pulse number. Use the pager code 7103 at the surgery exit.
  2. Read the laptop's X-Ray Dosage Table. At the X-ray computer, move and zoom until the skull alignment message appears. Power the panel and use Skull / kV 3 / mA 7 / Time 1, then the green button. Align the chest and use Chest / kV 7 / mA 3 / Time 1.2. Take both printouts, put them beside the intercom and inspect the requested image.
  3. Find Tensobromide in the green box in Victoria Ward's ground-floor Pharmacy Store. Dextracyclate is in the infusion machine in Chapman Ward, first floor, Bay 6. Read the upstairs clue for the Records Room lock, enter 2605 at the ground-floor Records Room and collect Hydroxalene from its cabinet's green box.
  4. Back in surgery, compare the patient's 88 kg weight with the laptop's dosage table. For the fictional pumps, use Dextracyclate 15, Hydroxalene 7 and Tensobromide 8. On each pump choose Set Rate, enter its number, confirm with the check mark, then Ready Pump. Activate the small console to the left of the bed.
  5. When Dr. Glenn gives you 5353, call it from reception. Find the Medical Intubation Kit on the shelf beyond the locker gap in basement storage. Return to the patient. Follow the flashing red target: right, lower left, then top, holding the indicated insert control at each position.
  6. In the changed medical centre, collect the map near the upper-hall metal door. Follow the right hallway to its bottom-end room and crawl through the vent. Take Alan Duncan's blood bag by the bed and Zoe's Patient List by the tape player; the list marks the bag locations. Use Alan's bag at the transfusion machine on the S.W. door at the left hallway's end.
  7. In Ward S, follow the path to room 05 at the lower left for Sarah Watson's bag. In Ward W, take the master key from the table in lower-floor room 04, open room 13, then climb its ladder to upper room 12 for Lesley Greer's bag. Use Lesley's bag to open the D.P. door at the end of the right central hallway.
  8. In Ward D, pass from room 03 through the hallway to room 02. Press the elevator control to lower Matthew Clark's bag. Upstairs, crawl through the north-wall vent of room 06 and follow the route down to Ward P room 10. Collect George McEwan's bag and the Ward P Master Key. Unlock room 03 and retrieve Matthew's bag from the elevator doorway.
  9. To leave Ward D, turn the valves in upper-floor rooms 05 and 10 when the large enemy is away; the nearby closets provide cover. Back in the central room, fill the remaining left positions with Sarah's bag first, then Matthew's. Place George's in the remaining right position. Operate the switch by the rear double doors.
  10. Inspect the Medical Wristband for Ordell's blood group. On the circular routing puzzle, connect the T.F., H.M. and S.W. paths to the centre, then confirm with the central ORDELL control. At the end of the next hallway, use the Room 204 Key to continue.

MAIN STORY

Clara Woods

Turn the three house clues into locker barcodes, collect the mechanical parts and gain access to CEG HQ.

  1. Take the estate map from the sign after following the left fork. In the CEG Employee Lockers office, read the computer and open Lost and Found with 772 for the South Brae House Key. The barcode beside the scanner unlocks Locker 75 with PIN 184; that locker holds the flare gun.
  2. Enter 5 South Brae and take the Disk Case Key from the upstairs bedroom drawer. Open the case beside the computer safe for the three disks. At Atlas Computers, use the same key on the side-room container to obtain Fix-A-Disk.
  3. Run Fix-A-Disk on the South Brae computer. At the scan prompt, remove that disk without pressing Cancel and insert disk 2. Repair Volume, remove it, then load disks 1, 2 and 3 using Unzip to RAM. Turn on the printer, print and collect MANUAL.EML, and open the house safe with 956.
  4. Take the South Brae barcode to the CEG scanner. Open Locker 17 with 575 and collect both the Boltcutters and a Mechanical Part. Use the cutters at the gate above the stairs near the locker building, then enter 6 North Brae through the back door.
  5. Read the Lamenting Poem on the chair in the second upstairs bedroom and inspect the paintings. Open the black box with 736. Scan its barcode at CEG and use 971 at Locker 204 for the second Mechanical Part.
  6. Cut the gate above CEG Staff Parking to reach the Overpass. In 5 Upper Brae, read The Code Today and play/remove Today upstairs. Take Yesterday from the far bedroom's box. Play Yesterday to collect Tomorrow from the living room and read The Code Before in the kitchen.
  7. Play Tomorrow, read The Code After in the living room and collect Do Not Play from the kitchen box. Play Do Not Play to obtain the Back Door Key. Switch to Today, unlock the back door, follow the alley and take the Ammonite Disk from the room accessible in this time state.
  8. Switch to Yesterday and insert the Ammonite Disk at the computer to read Current Count. Return to Today, open the box with 129 and take its barcode. Scan it at CEG, then open Locker 94 with 490 for the third Mechanical Part.
  9. Combine the two mechanical discs, then add the cylindrical part. Insert the assembled device into the pipe mechanism at the Strange Gate.
  10. Inside CEG HQ, collect the ground-floor map behind reception. Check the Maintenance whiteboard clue, then use 4895 at Security. Open Box 36 with 486 for the employee file, then enter ID 00007820518 at the database computer. Power the printer, print and collect the access card, then take the elevator.

Power the exterior lift, collect the projector components and match the slides to the agenda.

  1. At the exterior entrance, use the button in the security booth on the left to open the gate. Take the Generator Key from the cabinet behind the Managers Office door.
  2. At the generator's rear, leave the left and middle levers vertical and set the right lever diagonally. At the front, insert the key on the right, then pull the red lever on the left. Use the powered lift to enter.
  3. Take the map beside the body on the stairs between floors 2 and 3. Go to the fifth-floor boardroom and collect the Level 3/4 Access Card after the scene.
  4. On floor 3, use the card to reach the west side and Public Relations in the southwest. Climb the PR stairs into the fourth-floor Media Department. The CEG Storeroom Key lies by a body in the west room. Unlock the storeroom on the other side and take the Projector Bulb from General Storage.
  5. Return to third-floor Finance. Use the card and enter 2709, checking the CEG Checkout Sheet clue. Take the Projector Lens from the CFO's desk drawer. Fit the bulb and lens to the boardroom projector and switch it on.
  6. After the scene, take the CEG Maintenance Key from the body at the table. It opens Maintenance rooms on multiple floors. Reach the Mezzanine Meeting Room and collect the slides from its table.
  7. Use the numbered projector positions, not assumed left-to-right order. Positions 1–6 take D, F, B, C, E, A: newspaper, protest signs, hierarchy chart, profits chart, courtroom and censored photograph. Press Play once all are inserted; the following scene gives you the CEO Access Card.

MAIN STORY

Simon

Reconnect the gas route, follow the equipment identifiers in the CCTV feeds and release the clamp.

  1. In the changed CEG area, take the Reference Sheet from the desk on the right. Ride up to the second floor and collect the Controller Key from the box beside the red clamp wheel. Return to the ground-floor alarm panel and unlock its controls with the key.
  2. Enter A5D7 at the alarm panel and confirm. At the right-hand panel, enter E3E3 and confirm. From the initial tower state, rotate floor 1 twice, floor 2 once left, floor 3 twice and floor 4 twice. Check that the red pipe forms one connected route to the top; extra earlier rotations must be corrected by inspecting the pipe connections.
  3. At ground level, select Gas Flow and then Flow Test. All indicators should turn green before you select Ignite.
  4. In SWDP, take the JOE Key from the corner table in the computer room. Unlock the southwest JOE door, squeeze through the wall gap and collect the Access Card beside the bed. Return upstairs and use it on the east-side Control Room door.
  5. Turn on the remote panel with its two power switches. Use the cameras to read the equipment labels. Submit an Open + Valve command using the identifier visible on Valve B, then Start + Filter using the identifier in the filter-unit view. Enter each command's action, equipment and three-digit identifier, then confirm. Read the three digits directly from each camera view to target the correct equipment.
  6. Use the printed locker code, 0825, at the nearby locker to collect the AUX Key. Take the elevator down and unlock the northwest AUX room. Trace each line using the painted line counts and the arrow direction on the Auxiliary Lines clue. Lines 1 and 2 begin on the wall facing away from the computer. Set the switches along each route to the indicated directions; its indicator turns green when correct.
  7. Back at the remote panel, submit Flush + Auxiliary + 246 using the adjacent note. Then submit Stop + Regulator with the identifier visible in the Regulator Systems camera. Finally, use Unlock + Door with the door number visible in the Valves D–F view (592). Confirm each command. Go down to Room 592 and operate Valve F before returning to the Control Room.
  8. At the opposite clamp panel, set both Balance controls to Intermediate, enable both Notify switches, set Run Off to Disengaged and enter D71. Turn on Report lights 1, 3 and 6 only. Set Pressure Control to SET, Intubate Flow to NONE, Battery One to B and Battery Two to C. When Release flashes green, press it and turn the red crank downstairs.
  9. The route then leads to the final encounter and ending. The embedded video has an Eraser chapter at 1:53:08 and Returning at 1:56:36. Those sections reveal the ending; the written route here concentrates on progression and puzzle inputs, rather than combat tactics or alternate-ending requirements.
